Who am i?

Hi, I am Sarah

Growing up between different countries with international parents taught me early on to see the beauty in differences and to connect with people from many walks of life. I’ve always been drawn to the depth of life and the radiance of the human spirit, which eventually led me to complete my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Nepal and later receive my Ayurvedic Practitioner Certificate at the Alandi Ashram in Boulder

Why Womens Events

If you knew me growing up, I was always the girl with a soccer ball in her hand — the one who felt completely “grossed out” by makeup, pretty nails, and anything that seemed too girly. Without even thinking about it, I would often dismiss women who looked very feminine, telling myself, “They’re not my type of people.”

Later in life I learned about the idea of mirrors — that sometimes the things that trigger us in others are reflections of something within ourselves that we haven’t yet allowed space for.

For my younger self, femininity looked like nails and makeup. While I now know that femininity has many expressions, I also realized there was a part of me that deeply longed to connect with that softer, more feminine side of myself.

That realization opened a new path for me. Through yoga, self-inquiry, and community, I began reconnecting with my own feminine energy and discovering the wisdom of the body, the cycles we carry, and the incredible strength that emerges when women support one another.

Today, I feel deeply grateful for this journey. It has shown me the power of sisterhood, the beauty of women standing beside one another, and the role we each play in bringing balance, care, and life into the world.

Through Havaya Living, my intention is to create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and with each other — whether through yoga practice, women’s circles, or meaningful life celebrations.
